Central role in the design and development of Veriscape's NVSI™ (NetCentric Virtual Supercomputing Infrastructure™) technology. Design and develop new paradigms in software combining concepts from supercomputing, neurobiology and other disciplines. Work with application developers and systems analysts to incorporate support for a wide variety of vertical applications on top of NVSI™.

Required Skills:

• Experience with supercomputer, massively parallel and/or distributed computing environments.
• Familiarity with operating system design and implementation (particularly Unix).
• Extensive experience in C/C++, preferably in a cross-platform environment.
• Experience working effectively in a team.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with optimizing software for modern computer architectures.
• Experience with other programming languages, particularly Java.
• Knowledge of a wide variety of application architectures and environments.
• Education: Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related technical field.
